USPA NEWS - What happens when one of the most esteemed and trusted professions becomes corrupt? A judge who is honest 99% of the time is useless to the people. If this judge is your judge, his 1% of corruption equals your 100% of conviction. Your right to a fair trial does not go away just because nine out of ten people did get one. And your right to challenge a man for criminal behavior should not go away just because that man wears a black robe.
When it comes to committing crimes, anyone can fall prey. It takes a day for a person to become a villain. The reason behind someone getting involved in corrupt practices isn´t always defined. It can either be an increase of needs or simply greed taking over virtues. Law-makers and law-enforcers can also be the guilty ““ reason? Large sums of money.

When we look at the bigger financial criminals, we are looking at people who have sustained power with money. When a person has that much money, buying power and law is easy. The world has seen some recent scandals involving big company names, which were found guilty in facilitating financial criminals. This made these companies guilty too.
There are numerous banks across the world that help financial criminals hide their money. You can easily spot many politicians and business tycoons who turn their black money to white by sending large amounts to a foreign country in different currency accounts. Once they are caught, penalties are heavy.
A money launderer being caught means all property -- no matter in which part of the country it is -- being seized and all accounts being sealed. The criminal would suffer beyond belief and would take all possible measures to make sure this does not happen. That is where the judges´ role comes into play.

In order to bypass the punishment of the criminal or keep it at the minimum would require a handsome fee by the judge himself. This is a great way for judges to make money, but it is at the massive cost of law, of course. Judges have a lot of power in their hands and this is how they exploit it by giving the criminals what they want ““ freedom!
Justice and equality should be the same for every individual in every country. Law and order helps maintain the decorum, which is implemented by the judges alone. If they commit such crimes, where will the public go?
